Inna Loring, Esquire

“Our firm’s foundation is built on a commitment to shepherd families through conflict in ways that leave them stronger once the case concludes.”

Hi, I’m Inna Loring.

I look forward to working with you. My background lies in public interest law. I have served the justice system by helping indigent and underserved families through the ordeal of custody and divorce litigation. Before that, I clerked for three years and studied the court process from the other side of the bench.

From 2013 until 2019, my work has been in public service at Maryland Legal Aid. As part of an organization serving exclusively pro-bono clients, I have worked extensively with Maryland’s most vulnerable litigants and grew to appreciate the needs of families facing profound changes. To meet those needs, I have continually refined my practice in order to provide thorough representation despite my clients’ limited resources. As a result, I am creative, adept at making innovative arguments, and relentlessly focused on achieving sustainable long-term outcomes.

Family law comes with its own set of challenges, even as it pulls in many different areas of law: criminal, business, benefits, tax. Family law is also society’s bellwether; it evolves and reflects developing societal values. Each case has its own quirks, as no two families, marriages, or relationships are the same. I revel in the mental challenge of tailoring litigation strategies to fit the unique needs of a family within a constantly evolving legal landscape.

At Z Family Law, I continue to craft novel litigation strategies in challenging cases. I joined Z Family Law because our firm ethos resonates closely with my own beliefs about family law: Once the case is over, a family remains. Our firm’s foundation is built on a commitment to shepherd families through conflict in ways that leave them stronger once the case concludes. Yes, it is essential that we set our clients up to have the financial and logistical resources they need to thrive in the New Normal. However, clients also need strong communication tools and cooperative approaches to solving and preventing conflicts. Scorched earth tactics are counterproductive in family law.

I am glad my evolution has brought me to Z Family Law, where, as a Rockville, MD divorce lawyer, I am part of a team that prioritizes holistic, family-centered tactics and sustainable solutions rather than puffery and unnecessary drama. I hope to have the privilege of serving your family during your time with our firm.
